FUND A DESIGN BUILD WORKSHOP IN A PUBLIC SCHOOL

Place a built-environment educator in a school for a half-day.
Purchase materials for a small design-build project, such as a stepping stone, tile, sign, or planting.

PURCHASE MATERIALS

Support HSC’s local building projects in local public schools or in local neighborhood initiatives.

BUILD A PROJECT

$5,000-$10,000

Fund a small design-build project, such as a bench, mosaic planter or signage at a Ground Up public school site.

Place a built-environment educator in a school 2-3 days/week for 1-6 months.
Purchase construction materials.

ADOPT-A-SCHOOL

$20,000

Bring a group of your friends or colleagues together to adopt a Ground Up program at a public school. By adopting a school you will:

Place a built-environment educator in school 2-3 days/week for one year.
Purchase materials for a design-build project within the school’s campus or local community.
Build school-wide capacity for design education through professional development workshops.
Encourage young adults to take ownership of their community improvements.
